New Blog?

It’s been a while. After ditching my Joomla site I’ve spent time on and off over the course of a year, working on a new Kohana solution. I created a fairly decent blogging platform that fit my needs, but it lacked the sophisticated backend that WordPress has as well as the gallery and portfolio management features.

Learning Kohana was fun, but I also want to occasionally blog and upload photos, so here we are. I plan to spend time “soon”(tm) salvage some content from the old Joomla data dump to put in here.

Meanwhile, I’ve been much more active on Twitter. I started off not knowing what to do with that platform, but I believe I’ve found a use for it to some extent.  You’ll find my feed on the right – do follow me if you find what I post there to be useful.
